By using CoffeePal you agree to these terms. They're written to be read.

What CoffeePal is, and isn't

CoffeePal publishes essays about relationships. It is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a crisis service. If you feel unsafe, see our safety page. The attachment reflection is not a diagnosis.

Accounts

You need to be at least 18 to create an account. Sign-in links are sent to your email, so keep access to it secure. One person per account.

Responses

Responses are public. When you post one:

• You keep ownership, and you let us display it on CoffeePal.
• Don't harass, threaten or demean anyone; no hate, spam, advertising or impersonation.
• Don't share anyone's private information, and don't describe other people (partners, exes, family) in ways that identify them.

We, and an essay's author, may remove responses. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Our essays

Essays belong to CoffeePal or their authors. Share links freely; please don't republish whole essays without permission.

The professional directory

The directory isn't open yet. When it opens, professionals will pay for listings. We will verify their credentials before listing them, but we don't supervise their work, and choosing a professional is your decision.

Liability

CoffeePal is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make based on what you read here.

Law and changes
